CHAPTER SIX

A month passes, and things just keep getting better. Every night, I meet Noah in the firm’s garage on Madison Ave. Sometimes, we take his car. Sometimes, we take my car. More often than not, we leave in separate cars, only to meet up at his penthouse later. Every time he sees me in the garage, he pulls me into the dark corner quickly, his warm lips finding me in a passionate open kiss. Keeping our relationship under wraps is something that we’ve both agreed on. It is never a good thing, to be the boss and have employees think you might be showing partiality. It is even worse, I think, amused, when it is true.

It becomes a habit for Noah to call me into his office late in the evening, when the law firm is not overly busy. There’s never enough time for a fuck, but I rather enjoy giving Noah head beneath his desk.

“Just like that… hmm… naughty girl….”

I like listening to him pant and gasp, as he tries to be quiet. He pulls on my hair and slides his hand down on body to give me a loud spank. I like it even more when the roles are reversed and he smashes me against the inside of his door as he slides his fingers up my skirt. He plays me like a fine instrument and steals my yell as I come within a matter of minutes. These rendezvous become more and more frequent and each time he kisses me softly afterwards and whispers my name, his eyes warm with an emotion neither one of us has spoken of yet.

That was the case today. I have just left his office and stopped in the women’s bathroom to freshen up before running my last errand for Noah. He left for a client meeting but I’m already eager to see him soon.

In the stall, I eye the shredded fabric left from the thong Noah had ripped off and shake my head. The man was a brute! I hear the main bathroom door pull open and shut.

It’s Tabitha and Carmen. They’ve been working at the firm for almost four years now. I am not really close with either woman. They’re interested in gossip, The Real Housewives, and fashion shows. Not my kinda thing.

“So,” says Carmen. “Tell me what’s going on now!” Tabitha sighs and turns on the sink, as if trying to drown her words out with the flowing water.

“Oh, you know. It is just those two again.”

“Tabby, you can’t keep letting them bring you down like this. I know how much...”

“She’s a fucking skank,” interrupts Tabby, vehemently. “Every day, he asks for her. Do you know, Colin says she makes twice as much as we do?!”

Carmen sighs this time. “Well, Tabby she does do more than we do.”

“Yeah,” snorts Tabby. “And I am sure that has nothing to do with the fact that Noah’s all about her. Do you think they’ve actually fucked?”

My stomach lurches. A hand flies to my mouth, trying to stifle my gasp.
